안녕하세요!

 

My name is Kevin Liu, currently a fourth-year student majoring in Computer Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Over the years, I have grown a deep affection for Korean culture by fanboy-ing in Korean pop music, watching addicting Korean dramas, and tasting amazing Korean cuisine. Thus, I had a strong desire to study abroad in South Korea to immerse myself in the culture.

 

I was absolutely blessed to have studied at Yonsei International Summer School for six weeks during Summer 2018! A huge thanks to the Gilman Scholarship for funding my study abroad adventure during the summer! 

 

Having a beneficial summer session abroad, I studied hard in order to organize my academic courses to allow me to study abroad in the following year. Thankfully, I was once again nominated for the great opportunity to study abroad at Yonsei University through Manoa International Exchange. Major thanks to Freeman-Asia for funding my Fall 2020 semester abroad in South Korea, making my dream come true to truly live in Korea for a long period!
